Brenda K. O’Reilly, Ph.D.

Dr. Brenda O’Reilly, licensed psychologist, has been in private practice in Northern Colorado since 1994. She earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of South Carolina in 1987. She previously completed a graduate certificate in Biblical Studies from Columbia International University in 1980. Dr. O’Reilly’s prior experience includes working in a psychiatric hospital, serving as associate director of a university counseling center, teaching as an adjunct university professor, and counseling geriatric patients in long-term care facilities. The South Carolina Psychological Association honored her with the Outstanding Contribution to Psychology Award in 1992 for her work as Editor of a statewide professional newsletter. Dr. O’Reilly is a Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor and has received three Awards for Clinical Excellence, honoring superiority in clinical outcomes, from a major health insurance company.

More About Brenda

Brenda grew up in Richmond, Virginia. She knew at an early age that she was interested in the integration of faith and psychology. She majored in Psychology at Virginia Tech, where she was named Woman of the Year, as well as Outstanding Student in the College of Arts and Sciences, in 1976. After marrying in 1979 and living in South Carolina for 14 years, Brenda and her family moved to Fort Collins in 1993. She and her husband have excitedly explored all that Colorado has to offer, and their two children loved growing up here. Brenda and her husband are active members of a local church. She feels blessed to have discovered a career that she has truly enjoyed for over 35 years.
